Seriously check this out, it’s pretty awesome.
My grandfather was in the US Navy, and for a long while was part of the crew of the USS Enterprise. Since my dad’s passing, a lot of my grandfather’s mementos of my are now in my possession. This includes two medal ribbons (his wife/my dad’s stepmother sold the medals and I’m looking to get them replaced.), name tags, photos (a couple of which you can see above, I have boxes of them.), and a deck plate from the Enterprise.
I hope nobody minds that I blacked out the name on the tags for privacy’s sake.
